I love the smell of Murphy's Oil Soap. Seriously. SO DELICIOUS. And it's not the pregnancy talking.... I've loved it since I was a child. It may have something to do with loving how beautiful it makes wood look and how it gets all the yucky grime off stuff.... but, it may just be the yummy yummy smell.
In conjunction with that, I love Lemon Oil furniture polish. I cleaned my kitchen cabinets last week and the smells filling my kitchen were heavenly.
Speaking of Heavenly Smells in the kitchen... made these Monkey Muffins last week for youth night at our house. Oh My Goodness. They are SO good. And super easy... my sister helped me and we both loved the simplicity of the recipe. We used canned biscuit dough and they were still delish.Which brings me to my next thing I am currently loving... The Pioneer Woman. I kinda stumbled upon her blog and think she is just a hoot and half. She has great recipe ideas, she's open and honest (which I love) and she talks about things like hotel bathrooms and beautiful babies. What's not to love?
And speaking of beautiful babies... my 16-month old just woke up in the middle of his nap. I went in and laid (lied, lay, lie - I have no idea.) down beside him and coaxed him back to sleep. He looked all cute and sleepy and adorable... when he was back to slumbering I couldn't resist just one tiny little mommy kiss.... which of course made him wake up. He gave me this "Woman, what are you doing? I am trying to SLEEP here" look and closed his eyes again. Hee hee hee. Yes, I had to do a little more coaxing, but it was totally worth it. Completely.
I imagine I'll be seeing that look a lot when he's a teenager.
Awesome. Glad to see a blog. Been wondering how you are.
ReplyDeleteI love The Pioneer Woman. I have tried several of her recipes. And, I now cut onions the P-Dub way.
